Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, participated in a seminar entitled " GCC economies for the Post-Oil era,"held today in the Sultanate of Oman. In a speech before the gathering, Al-Zayani said that many decades ago, the GCC countries began their world-recognized development and civilization renaissance drive, a key factor placing them in the ranks of developed countries at globally-acknowledged level. Despite that the oil was the only source of their income, but they benefited from this natural source in the march of their development.
