Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir has stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is working for stability, security, development and prosperity and improving the living conditions of the Saudi people and the peoples of the Arab and Islamic world. Al-Jubeir said in a joint press conference with Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen that the three Gulf, Arab and Islamic summits held in Makkah have strongly condemned Iran and its terrorist acts such as terrorist attacks on vessels in the Gulf of Oman, oil pumping stations in the Kingdom and other attacks. Minister Al-Jubeir stressed that the bombing of embassies, planting of terrorist cells in other countries, smuggling of weapons and explosives to other countries, supporting of terrorist militias that harm civilians and launching of ballistic missiles at cities are not a conduct of a country which wants to live in peace and be respected by neighboring countries, adding the Islamic world now isolates Iran due to its terrorist acts and the international community is isolating Iran as well, considering it as the world's first sponsor of terrorism and is subjected now to severe sanctions by the international community, which has sent a message to Iran that its continuation in this approach will increase sanctions and rises the price. The Iranian regime should focus on improving the living conditions of the Iranian people rather than spending their capabilities in supporting terrorism, destruction and killing, Al-Jubeir added. On the Palestinian cause, Al-Jubeir concluded that all the summits affirmed that the solution must be based on the resolutions of the international legitimacy, the Arab peace initiative and the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem (AlQuds) as its capital.
