U.S. stocks rose Tuesday. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 372.65, or 1.5 percent, to 25,425.76.
The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 34.93, or 1.3 percent, to 2,744.73.
The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index rose 106.71, or 1.5 percent, to 7,414.62.
