The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)'s Permanent Representatives have condemned in the strongest terms the aggression by the Iran-backed Al-Houthi militias on two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea after crossing Bab Al-Mandab strait. They confirmed, in a Final Communique issued at the conclusion of their meeting held at the headquarters of the OIC's General Secretariat here today at the request of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that the aggression constitutes a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms and a serious threat to international navigation, and it forms considerable damage to the freedom of international trade and maritime navigation at Bab Al-Mandab and the Red Sea, pointing out that these heinous attacks are perpetrated amid similar terrorist operations by Iran-backed Al-Houthi militias against international maritime traffic and international trade, in addition to their planting of hundreds of naval mines intended to cause damage to the interests of the countries of the region and the entire world, in total disregard for the possible disastrous environmental and economic repercussions of oil spills at Bab al-Mandab and the Red Sea areas. --More 15:29 LOCAL TIME 12:29 GMT 0018 www.spa.gov.sa/1795779
