Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Chairs Cabinet's Session

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday afternoon.
At the outset of the session, the King expressed his thanks and appreciation to the leaders of sisterly Arab countries and all participants in the 29th Arab Summit "AlQuds Summit" for their blessed efforts contributed to its success, briefing the Cabinet on the results of his meetings with a number of leaders of Arab countries on the sidelines of the Summit, as well as his meetings with President Mahamadou Issoufou of the Republic of Niger and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at the headquarters of the closing ceremony of Common Gulf Shield Exercise 1, and his reception of the Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres.
The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency that the Cabinet congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince on the Summit's success, stressing the King's speech at AlQuds Summit and his assurances on a number of crucial issues facing the Arab nation, emphasizing that the declaration of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on naming the summit as Al-Quds Summit, the Kingdom's donation $ 150 million to Islamic Endowment Support Program in Al-Quds and $ 50 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), embody the King's keenness to assist the brotherly Palestinian people, as he said in his speech that the Palestinian cause is the first one for the Arab nation, and Palestine and its people are in the conscience of Arabs and Muslims.
The Cabinet welcomed "Dhahran Declaration" and Arab leaders' assertions on the importance of enhancing the joint Arab action based on a clear methodology and solid foundations that protect the nation from dangers threatening it, maintaining security and stability and ensuring a promising future for future generations, as well as its positions towards various issues and events facing the Arab nation.
The Cabinet commended Arab national security document to confront common challenges issued at the conclusion of the 29th Arab Summit ''AlQuds Summit'' and its commitments to enhance solidarity among Arab countries, coordinate their positions to serve their supreme interests and achieve security and stability for their peoples.
