Two people were killed and dozens injured Sunday in
two pileups involving 36 vehicles on the Zagreb-Belgrade highway, dpa quoted authorities as saying.
The accidents occurred near the toll station at Simanovci, 35 kilometres west of Belgrade on the E70 road, one of the main routes connecting western with south-eastern Europe and Turkey. Traffic had
to be re-routed.
