Three people in an ambulance were killed Friday and two were seriously injured after the vehicle hit a truck in southern Vietnam, police said. The accident occurred on the Trung Luong Highway running through Long An province as the ambulance was carrying a victim of an earlier traffic accident to Ho Chi Minh city, dpa quoted traffic police as saying. An initial investigation showed the driver was speeding and lost control of the vehicle, police said. The 27 year-old driver, a nurse, and a relative of the victim of the first accident were killed. The patient, whose leg was broken earlier, suffered brain trauma when the ambulance crashed.
