Secretary General of UN Welcomes Inter-Korean Talks

Secretary General of United Nations (UN) Ban Ki-moon welcomed today declaration of the two Koreas that they have agreed to hold talks with each other.
In a statement, Ban Ki-moon said that is an encouraging development towards easing tensions and promoting peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula, stressing that any disputes relating to the Korean Peninsula should be resolved peacefully through dialogue.
