Nigeria defeated Burkina Faso 1-0 on Sunday to win the Africa Cup of Nations for a third time.
Sunday Mba volleyed the winner in the 40th minute against first-time finalists Burkina Faso.
Nigeria's previous titles in the continental showpiece event came in 1980 and 1994, according to a report of DPA.
