RIYADH — Dirab and Al-Majma'ah leagues reached the final of RCA Champions League, which is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) in collaboration with Cricket Saudi International. In the first semifinal, Dirab League beat Huraymala League by 6 wickets. Dirab League won the toss and elected to field. Huraymala lost its first wicket in the 3rd over and continued losing wickets at regular intervals. Contributions from Tila Yousafzayi (38), Asif Zaki (38), Obaidullah (28) and Waseem Jabbar (22) made sure that Huraymala reached 181-9 in the quota of 20 overs. Iftikhar Ali, Saqib Saleem and Irshad Mubashir picked up 2 wickets each, while Yassir and Adnan grabbed a wicket each. Dirab had a disastrous start with a wicket on the very first ball of its innings, but a partnership of 104 between Waseem Jutt (70 off 36 balls) and Irshad Mubashir (52 off 46 balls) took Dirab League out of trouble. Yassir Ahmed's 41 off 21 balls helped Dirab reach the target comfortably in 18.3 overs. Zeeshan Mansha claimed 2 wickets, while Yassir Ghafoor and Imran Younus got 1 each. Man of the Match: Waseem Jutt. Al-Majma'ah beat Al-Kharj by 8 wickets in the second semifinal. Al-Kharj elected to bat first and posted a formidable total of 228-9 with notable contributions coming from all top 5 batsmen. Malik Fahad scored 40, Muzaffar Majeed 37, Bilal Wani 32, Nadeem Babar 31 and Kamran Akram 28. Ibrar Ul Haq and Abdulaziz picked up 2 wickets each, while Dawood, Awais and Saif chipped in with a wicket each. Chasing a big total, Al-Majma'ah openers started aggressively hitting boundaries to all corners of the ground. Abdul Waheed played a master class innings of 132 off 57 balls. He was well supported by Ibrar Ul Haq, who scored a quick-fire 56 off 17 balls and Hamza Abbasi, who steadied the ship with 25 off 22 balls. Muzaffar Majeed and Ayaz claimed a wicket each.
