RIYADH — KFSH Blues, Lahore Badshah, Aisco and Fonte Stars qualified for the semifinals of the 10-over RCA Almomen Cup, sponsored by Al-Momen International School and organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA).
KFSH Blues defeated L'usine by 71 runs. Batting first, KFSH Blues posted a massive total of 167-3. Waseem scored 59 off 21 balls and Nadeem Babar smashed 55 off 18 balls. Nasir smashed a quick 26. In reply, L'usine was restricted to 96-6 in 10 overs, Adeel top scored with 20. Abid took 2 wickets.
In an upset, Shuraim lost to Aisco by 23 runs. Aisco scored 112-6. Amjad (33) and Shahzad (27) were the key contributors. Nadeem and Shahnawaz grabbed 2 wickets each. Shuraim could manage only 89 runs. Zia top scored with 29. Amajd and Shahid claimed 2 wickets each.
In another upset, Fonte Star thumped Pak Shaheen by 30 runs. Fonte Star posted 113-4. Waseem (38) and Bilal (24) batted well. Wahab picked up 3 wickets. In reply, Pak Shaheen was bowled out for just 83 in 9.3 overs. Afaq grabbed 3 wickets. Qasim, Shakeel and Bilal took 2 wickets each.
Lahore Badshah registered a victory over Fast by 4 wickets. Fast put on 110. Imtiyaz was the best performer with 31. Imran took 4 wickets. Lahore Badshah won the match in the 9th over. Imran top scored with 34. Shahbaz bowled well to pick up 4 wickets.
