JEDDAH — Nestle Milo, MBCC, UCC, Hyundai, MCH Green, Hala School, Fuchs Alhamrani and Choudhry-XI won their respective matches in the WPCA Afternoon MoneyGram CKB Tournament here.

In the Afternoon MoneyGram, AMI Juffali was defeated by Nestle Milo by 8 wickets. Juffali posted 153 for 8 as Najam Uzbak hit 50 and Imad 32. Haroon Zahid took 3-25 and Bilal Malik 2-26. Nestle Milo reached 154-2 in 84 balls as Bilal Malik smashed 67 in 34 balls and Fahad 73 not out as the duo added 120 runs.

MBCC beat Elaf Advance by 6 wickets. Elaf Advance posted 156-9 as Ehtesham scored 32 and Gulzar 43. Abdulrehman, Azhar and Rana Haroon claimed two wickets each. MBCC was home with 160-4 in 85 balls as Rana Haroon hammered an unbeaten 70 in 29 balls and Fareed 41. Adnan had 2-30.

UCC trounced APF by 46 runs. UCC piled up 176-7 through Imran Asad (51) and Shahnawaz (35). Umair and Owais claimed 2 wickets each. APF could manage only 130-6 despite a hurricane innings of 72 in 19 balls by Murtaza. Zakar took 3 for 13 and Yasir 2-13.

Hyundai thrashed ET Zone by 69 runs. Hyundai racked up 219-4 with contributions from Talha (21), Pervez (68), Ayaz Sr. (38) and Yousef (38 not out). Abdulrehman took 2-45. ET Zone, in reply, was left stranded at 150-6 as Ali Awan made 38, Yousef 34 not out and Shakeel 37 not out. Faheem claimed 3-47 and Ayaz 2-13.

My Care Hala Green humbled Zultrack by 5 wickets. Zultrack posted 114-9 thanks to Mudassir (54). Aamir grabbed 5-8 in 4 overs, Basheer 2-13 and Fahad 2-20. MCH Green reached 115-5 in 84 balls as Aamir hit 43. Subaiyyal took 2-27.

Choudhry-XI downed Contraco by 9 wickets. Contraco put on 151-7 as Mohsin smashed 37, Irfan 29 and Yaseen 25. Waqas took 3-35 and Yahya 3-32. Choudhry-XI responded with 154-1 in 84 balls as Zahoor blasted 78 in 51 balls, Mohsen 34 and Azeem 29.

Al-Mabani got the better of Al-Safri by 6 wickets. Al-Safri posted 149-9 with Rehan stroking 38 and Manjeet Kumar 42. Usman Gulab claimed 4-21 and Adnan 2-21.

Al-Mabani chased 150 for 4 as Usman Gulab blasted 75 in 52 balls and Aijaz Khan 28. Pervez took 2-23.

Hala International School punished Hala Academy White by 7 wickets. Hala White opted to bat first and scored 183-8. Shahjahan top-scored with 70 not out, Abdulmoeed made 33 and Aseer Ashraf 37. Junaid and Shahzad claimed 2 wickets each. Hala School achieved 184 for 3 thanks to Junaid (62), Anas Malik (44) and Mohsin (32 not out).

Fuchs Alhamrani defeated Thales Group by 100 runs. Fuchs racked up 243-4 as Abdulgafour cracked 76 in 36 balls, Khoban 55 not out, Nasir Khan 43 and Irfan Anjum 39. Thales, in reply, was bundled out for 143 as Waqas made 65 and Sheraz 34. Irfan took 3-26, Mohsen 3-15, while Nasir Khan and Hafez bagged 2 wicket each. — SG
