JEDDAH — The third leg of the 5th Rawabi Talent Exhibition, which aims to develop the potential of talented young people, concluded here recently.
The expo has wrapped up its third stop after its opening in Riyadh and Tabuk, the latter of which hosted the event for the first time.
More than 113,000 people have benefited from the event since its launch in 2011.
This year's exhibition is the result of a partnership between Rawabi Holding Group and the Human Resources Development Fund.
It encompasses the implementation of five intensive programs to develop the skills and capabilities of the youth in the Kingdom, organizing talent exhibits and training guidance counselors.
Noaf Al-Turki, vice president of corporate services at Rawabi Holding Group, said the exhibition in Jeddah was a major success as it witnessed a high turnout and valuable interactions in the workshops.
He said: “We are glad that the third leg in Jeddah has reflected the objectives of guiding the youth and creating available opportunities to feed their eagerness and enthusiasm for work.
“There are also examples of youth who participated in the past and where the exhibition helped them to discover and choose which is perfect for them, in their studies or careers.”
The event won admiration from its visitors for being unique.
The newly interactive game “Discover my Career” also added a nice flair to the exhibition as it entertained and enriched many students, enabling them to prepare for their future.
The exhibit hosted many renowned speakers from different sectors in an open session and encompassed various distinctive activities and educational programs ready-made for the youth.
The event's activities also included workshops, professional orientation tests and interactive electronic application services to nourish personal development and showcased testimonial videos of many success stories.
Winners of awards that were presented at the event shared their personal success stories and testimonials.
The audience were captivated by the lectures and interacted with the event.
The Rawabi Talent Exhibition aims to guide young people in discovering their future orientations by answering questions regarding their professional future and which career path better fits their personalities.
It aims to create a valuable difference and sustainable development in society through strategic partnerships involving the private and public sectors that shed light on the various career options available to the youth and hosts experts to represent these career choices.
