Tabuk's Rawabi talent expo looks at youth needs

TABUK — In partnership with the Human Resources Development Fund, Rawabi Holding Group launched the second round of the 5th Rawabi Talent Exhibition at the Prince Sultan Cultural Center in the presence of the company's Vice Chairman Ali Al-Turki and a number of government officials and private sector organizations in the Kingdom.
The schedule began with a visit to boys schools that will run until Feb. 13.
Students from the schools will also be hosted in the exhibition on Feb. 12 and 13 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Girls schools will then be visited from Feb. 15-19 and their students hosted in the exhibition at night on Feb. 19 and 20.
Rawabi's partnership with the Human Resources Development Fund this year encompasses the implementation of five intensive programs to advance career education in the Kingdom, organizing talent exhibitions and training guidance counselors.
Al-Turki expressed gratitude and appreciation toward the fund for their constant support in active youth-oriented programs and thanked the Prince Sultan Cultural Center for holding the event for the first time in Tabuk.
He said: “We hope that the outcome of our partnership with the HRDF leads to fruitful results as we are striving to address the needs of the young generation between the ages of 16 and 24.
“The Rawabi Talent Exhibition aims to help the youth discover their professional orientations and explore their potential through various platforms, providing them guidance and answers as benchmarks toward a thriving future.”
Ibrahim Al-Moaiqel, director general of the Human Resources Development Fund, highlighted the importance of this strategic partnership with the private sector to provide training opportunities for students and merge both educational and practical implementation.
He said: “Our partnership with Rawabi Holding Group focuses on improving the levels of success towards human development through speeding up the pace of training and shaping the youth as qualified candidates for jobs that suit their orientations.
“The Rawabi Talent Exhibition proved to be a pioneer in providing the young generation with a clear well-rounded vision of the future.”
The exhibition entails several activities and gatherings that aim to help the youth set professionally oriented plans for the future.
These professions are represented in interactive booths supervised by experts in their fields to talk about the nature of their work and provide moral support for the youth to work toward a better future.
