KUALA LUMPUR — The Saudi Students Club in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur launched open sports days with members of the club participating in various activities. The activities included an open day for bicycles, as the club's management coordinated with the bicycles exhibition in Kuala Lumpur to book 15 bicycles. The club set a nominal fee for participants, which included soft drinks and dinner. The participants cycled from Cyberjaya City to Putrajaya and back totaling 36 kilometers. During the bike ride, participants visited various tourist sites and took commemorative photos. They also stopped for dinner along the way where they dined in a happy atmosphere. The club also organized a Go-Kart competition next to the International Formula Competition in the vicinity of Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The participants were trained for 12 minutes and the competition was launched at 11.00 a.m. The competitors had to complete 12 rounds and the winners were awarded medals. The sports committee lauded the club for the sportsmanship spirit among competitors. The open sports days activities included a recreation day in Sunway Lagoon Park as well. Activities and competitions were held in water sports in which the families of both male and female Saudi scholarship students participated.
