Saudi Gazette report DHAHRAN — Saudi Aramco has designed and implemented a training program on voluntary work during which it held theoretical and practical training sessions for 511 volunteers consisting of 279 young men and 232 young women. The program, tilted "enriching knowledge", is part of Aramco's strategy for social responsibility through which it will plan and develop participants' skills. Under the program, participants studied for 12 credit hours to enhance their skills in communication, leadership, teamwork, providing assistance to the needy and distressed, managing masses and serving the society through field work. A number of lectures were delivered during the training period in addition to individual and group exercises aimed at enhancing the ability of participants to deal with problems. Aramco intends to complete more than 100,000 hours of voluntary work to be carried out by more than 500 young men and women over a six-week period.
