HELSINKI — Russia scored two late goals Tuesday to beat the United States 5-3 in a closely fought game at the ice hockey world championships, while Canada routed Norway 7-1 after scoring four unanswered goals in the first period. The Americans gave the defending champion its toughest test yet at this year's tournament. US goalkeeper Ben Bishop finished with 25 saves, while Ilya Bryzgalov had 19 for Russia. The US (2-1) plays co-host Finland (3-0) Wednesday. In other games Tuesday, Morten Green scored in overtime to give Denmark a 3-2 win over Slovenia and newcomer Austria beat Latvia 6-3.
