The week-long culinary journey at all the LuLu Hypermarket outlets in Saudi Arabia, was inaugurated by Neil Crompton, British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the LuLu Hypermarket in Yarmouk, Riyadh. On this occasion, LuLu launched 8 new UK brands with more than 60 products under their umbrella. LuLu currently has over 4000 products from the UK for shoppers. In Jeddah, the festival was inaugurated by Cecille Elbeleidi – Consul General of the United Kingdom to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the LuLu Hypermarket Al Marwa, Jeddah. In Dammam, the festival was inaugurated by Toff Wahab - Head of the British Trade office & Director of Trade & Investment at the LuLu Hypermarket Rayyan, Dammam The popular annual festival offers a wide variety of food products imported from the UK across LuLu stores and online at www.luluhypermarket.com and gives people in Saudi Arabia the opportunity to enjoy the extraordinary variety and high quality of British food produce and brands. Shoppers will be able to make the most of the finest British summer treats, from freeze-packed berries to teas, British organic milk, flavoursome yogurts and specialty breads. The promotion will run across the entire chain of 30 LuLu Hypermarkets in Saudi Arabia. Many British products were specially flown in to fill the aisles of Lulu, the largest hypermarkets for this promotion. The stores also showcased beauty and hygiene brands such as soaps, detergents and home cleaning products.
