MAKAH — The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has carried out periodic maintenance and perfuming of the Holy Kaaba. The periodic maintenance process was carried out with the participation of the Presidency of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques President Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais. Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais stressed that the Holy Kaaba has a great place in Muslims' hearts, therefore, King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman were keen to harness all the human capabilities and the modern technologies to take care of the Holy Kaaba and the Two Holy Mosques. He said that the Presidency has always taken great care of perfuming the Holy Kaaba with the most luxurious essentials, and taking care of its Kiswa (the black cloth covering the Kaaba) with the finest kind of silk. The great care that Holy Kaaba is receiving comes within the importance position of the Two Holy Mosques in Islam, and with the keenness to implement what the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Prophet (peace be upon him) urge to glorify the Holy Kaaba, purify and cleanse it.
