The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, represented by the Agency of the Affairs of the King Abdulaziz Complex for the Kaaba Kiswa and the General Administration for the Kiswa Maintenance, Sunday implemented periodic comprehensive maintenance for the Kaaba Kiswa. During the maintenance work it was found that the lower part of Kiswa endured some cuts of strings that are fixed immediately by the specialized maintenance team. The complex allocates one day to install silk on the entire lower part of the Kaaba. Director of Administration for Maintenance of the Holy Kaaba Cloth at the Grand Mosque Fahd Al-Jabiri stressed the importance of Kiswa receiving utmost care and attention round the year. He also highlighted the technicians' keenness to take necessary procedures and fix issues that are detected on the Kaaba Kiswa with high quality and record time without affecting the movement of Umrah performers and worshippers. — SPA
