SACO and Ramos clinch Itqan Bowling Group's honors

RIYADH — SACO team keglers burned the lanes to bag the Team of the Week award, while Atoi Ramos unleashed one of his deadly forms to claim the Bowler of the Week honor.
Ramos also became the first player to roll a Perfect 300 during the 2nd week of action in the Itqan Bowlers Group (IBG), 3rd Conference, organized by the IBG Advocate, Ian Choco. Also supporting the event are Nelson de Vera, official of Thales and mentor of Thales team, in cooperation with the management of the Universal Bowling Center (UBC).
The troika of George Sto. Domingo, Stephen Ajera and Fernie Ballano rocked the lanes to power SACO over Zezo by posting 26 perfect points. Also in the limelight for Saco were Joel Batolina, Ferdie dela Rosa and Jun Sebastian who scored series of 774, 424 and 375, respectively.
For the Zezo team, which suffered its second defeat since the opening day, posting the best score was Manny Lebrilla with 798. Fhel Ramos and Jess Ambon was next contributing 774 and 769 points, while Danny Trinidad and Jojo MIraflor chipped in with 751 and 731.
ABB JeX helped dismantle Roll and Bowl, 22-15. Ramos shot a series of 999 points on lines of 300, 236, 214 and 249, for an average of 249. Providing splendid support to the man-of-the-moment Ramos were fellow members Glenn Espiritu (833), Louie Laguardia (811), Rurik Ian Santos (732), JB Buyson (383) and Veo Adina (313).
Will Kirby and Jove Marano shone to top-score in Roll and Bowl by posting series of 894 and 825. Next to Kirby and Marano who dazzled was Ernie Tulang with 771 points. Durable Fred Dioquino and IBG 2nd Conference Most Improved Player, Andy Carasig, shared series of 771 and 765. Angel's Vipers of Angel Caasi upset Dabarkads, 26-11, through the team effort of James Boyd (813), Dawood Sereno (811), Shawn Rickett (801), Koko Torres (695), Edgar Badeo (426) and team Manager Angel Caasi (401). Reiner Torres had 187 in one game.
Posting the scores for the Dabarkads, having a blind player in their lineup, was Ramil Glorioso with 928 points. He was followed by Irene Pua (910), Dong Yamco (928) and Charlie Cheng (751).
NBA recorded another impressive victory against the Itqan Tornado, 22-8. Taking center stage for NBA was the duo of Bandar Al-Marshad and Nelson de Vera. Al-Marshad and De Vera hit separate series of 867 and 802. Likewise, the triumvirate of Mike Ecalnir, Edwin Atienza and Joe Garido delighted by knocking down separate series of 771, 755 and 752.
Ruben Babasa shot 778 points to lead in Itqan Tornado. Next to Babasa were Reynald Medina (741), Ric Urrutia, Jr. (735), Butch Mateo (704) and Jojie Manalansan (690).
Other results: Itqan Tenpin Wizards beat Super Bowl 22-13, Thales beat Magnificent-5 21-11, My Girl scored 19 points against the Bye-team.
