JEDDAH — The Committee for the Random Neighborhoods in Jeddah announced that it has amended the dates of notifying residents of the removal and shutting down the services and removal work in of 6 neighborhoods. The committee stated that the neighborhoods included in the dates amended are: Al-Montazahat, Quwaizah, Al-Adl and Al-Fadl, Umm Al-Salam, and Kilo 14 Al-Shamali (north Jeddah). Residents in the Al-Montazahat neighborhood will be notified on July 23, while services will shut down on Aug. 6. Removal work will start on Aug. 22 and will end on Sept. 12, while the rubble removal will end on Dec. 12, covering an area of 3,227,128 sq. meter. As for the Quwaizah neighborhood, the residents will be notified on Aug. 14, and services will be disconnected on Aug. 28, while the removal work will start on Sept. 4 and will end on Sept. 14, and the rubble removal will be completed on Dec. 14, covering an area of 1,540,332 sq. meter While the residents in the Al-Adl and Al-Fadl neighborhood will be notified on Aug. 27, and the committee said that cutting of the services will take place on Aug. 10, while the removal work will be on first of October and will end on the 22nd of the same month, noting that all work to remove the rubble will be completed by Jan. 22 of the next year 2023, covering an area of 3,865,913 sq. meter Residents in the in Umm Al-Salam, and Kilo 14 Al-Shamali (north Jeddah) neighborhoods will be notified on Sept. 17, while the services will be disconnected on Oct. 1. The removal work will start on Oct. 15 and will end on the 29th of the same month, provided that all work of removing the rubble will be completed on Jan. 29 of next year 2023, covering an area of 1,879,713 sq. meter.
