Saudi-XI, Pak Crescent win in Jotun Cup

YANBU — Saudi-XI and Pak Crescent won their matches in the Division-I 40-Over YACA Jotun Cup, organized by the Yanbu Cricket Association (YACA) and sponsored by Jotun Paints here recently.
Saudi-XI defeated Cristal-XI by three wickets. Saudi-XI restricted Cristal-XI to 186 in 31.1 overs. Yassir and Farasat scored 47 and 37, respectively. Nadeem Saad Nadwi took 4-38, while Ali Rashid Cheema claimed 3-26.
In reply, Saudi-XI scored the required runs in 35.3 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Junaid scored 26 and Khurram remained unbeaten on 45. Fazal took 2-30. Nadeem Saad Nadwi was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match.
In another match, Pak Crescent (A) won by 134 runs against Indo Ryders. Pak Crescent won the toss and was all out for 231 in 35 overs. Sarfaraz (99) and Ali Shan (42) were the main scorers. Abid took 3-47. Fazal and Sajjam took two wickets each. In reply, Indo Ryders were bundled out for 97 in 21.3 overs. Faizal remained not out on 20. Fahad took 3-20, while Man-of-the-Match Sarfaraz, Asif and Saleem took two wickets each.
In another 20-over match, Saudi-XI won by 10 runs against Jotun Paints. Saudi-XI won the toss and scored 118-7. Abbas (34) and Arsalan (38) were the main scorers. Akbar took 2-21.
In reply, Jotun Paints could score only 108-9. Akbar scored 32, while captain Nasrullah Bhatti remained not out on 25. Man-of-the-Match Sajjad took 3-22, while Dr. Aamir claimed 2-17.
Pak Crescent won by 152 runs against Shah-XI in another 20-over encounter. Pak Crescent made 206 mainly through Ali Shan (52) and Saleem (40). There were 33 extras. Sami took 3-37.
In reply, Shah-XI was bundled out for 54. Man-of-the-Match Sarfaraz took 3-15, while Fahad and Asif took two wickets each.
