ADEN — All members of the newly formed Yemeni government left unharmed in a coordinated attack launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia on Wednesday. The large explosion and gunfire took place at Yemen's Aden Airport as soon as the plane carrying the new government headed by Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik Saeed landed. The Yemeni government ministers were in the plane at the moment of the explosion and they were later taken to a safe location, Al Arabiya TV reported. At least five people were killed and dozens more were wounded in the attack. "All members of the government are fine after the Aden airport terminal bombing," the report quoted the Yemeni minister of information as saying. The minister called the attack a "cowardly act'. According to the Yemeni government, all the ministers were in the plane at the moment of the explosion except the defense minister. Arab Coalition forces transferred members of the Yemeni government and provided them with protection, Al Arabiya TV reported quoting government sources.
