Yemen's President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi approved on Friday the formation of a new government headed by Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik, local media reported. Prime Minister Abdulmalik will lead a 25-member Cabinet representing all sections of the Yemeni society except Houthis. The move follows the completion of the measures related to the military component of the Riyadh Agreement. After the announcement of the unity government, the spokesman of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Abyan said: "We have completed the implementation of the military as part of the Riyadh Agreement, and we have also finished the redeployment and withdrawal process. We are committed to the deployment plan prepared by the Arab Coalition." Military arrangements were earlier completed for the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement between the Yemeni government and the STC. — Developing
