JEDDAH — Zee Aflam, the first Pan-Arab 24-hour free-to-air Bollywood film channel dedicated to Arabic audiences, will mark award-winning actress, Rani Mukherjee's birthday with a stellar showcase of her blockbuster films.Celebrating the acting stint of Mukherjee, whose birthday falls on March 21, Zee Aflam will screen “Saathiya” and “Bunty Aur Babli,” on March 24 and 31, respectively. Previous movies on Zee Aflam starring Mukherjee included “Ta Ra Rum Pum,” “Pradeep Sarkar's Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, “and “Hum Tum.” Famed for her portrayal of the girl-next-door, Mukherjee has earned an array of award nominations and wins over the course of her career. For her performance in Saathiya, she scooped the title of “Best Actress” at the Filmfare Awards and Screen Weekly Awards, while earning nominations for the “Best Actress in a Leading Role” at the Awards of the International Indian Film Academy and for “Best Actress” at the Zee Cine Awards.
