Shawahid, Malik XI, Hyderabad Sharks march ahead in JCA Summer League

Shawahid, Malik XI, Hyderabad Sharks continued their winning ways and Butt Sports also triumphed, coupled with excellent individual performances by Rizwan (92) and Abdul Rehman (90NO) of Butt Sports, Yasir (79) of Hyderabad Sharks and Adnan Butt (4 for 23) of Malik XI, were the highlights of the 3rd week matches of Summer League organized under auspices of Jeddah Cricket Association.
Butt Sports amassed 212 for 3 thanks to some aggressive batting by Rizwan (92) and Abdul Rehman (90NO) and good bowling by Bhatti (3 for 31) and restricted Islamabad United to 171 for 6, to win by 41 runs, despite good knock by Abdulla (56NO) ended up on losing side.
Hyderabad Sharks scored 206 for 5 to win by 78 runs against Pak Zalmi thanks to openers Mansoor (50) and Yasir (79) who put on 126 runs, supported by tight bowling in tandem by Hamza (2 for 28), Osman (2 for 18) and Hassam (3 for 14).
Malik XI won by 76 runs against Makkah Kings courtesy Amir Walah (51) and Arshad (41NO) and good bowling by Adnan Butt (4 for 23) and Amir (2 for 11). Excellent all-round performance by Shad Khan (50 runs & 2 for 29) gave Shawahid 55 run win against Al Burj, despite Usman's (50) valiant knock going in vain. In the last match Royal Juaran got walkover as KAIA failed to report.
Butt Sports beat Islamabad United by 41 Runs
Butt Sports 211 for 3 16 overs — Rizwan 92, Abdul Rehman 90NO, Amir 3 for 28. Islamabad United 171 for 6 16 overs — Abdulla 56NO, Bilal 38, Bhatti 3 for 31, Imran 2 for 24.
Hyderabad Sharks beat Pak Zalmi by 78 Runs
Hyderabad Sharks 206 for 5 16 overs — Mansoor 50, Yasir 79NO, Feroz 2 for 27, Abid 2 for 15. Pak Zalmi 128 all out — Abid 43, Tausif 31, Hassam 3 for 14, Usman 2 for 18, Hamza 2 for 28.
Malik XI beat Makkah Kings by 76 Runs
Malik XI 164 for 6 16 overs — Amir Walha 51, Arshad 41NO, Rehman 3 for 24, Umar 3 for 28. Makkah Kings 88 all out — Adnan Butt 4 for 23, Amir 2 for 11.
Shawahid beat Al Burj by 55 Runs
Shawahid 211 for 5 16 overs — Shad 50, Adnan Butt 38, Usman 2 for 19. Al Burj 156 for 7 16 overs — Usman 50, Tayyab 32, Bilal 3 for 28, Shad Khan 2 for 29. — SG
