Easy for Jamoom Fighters, Makkah Eagles, UT Lines

JEDDAH — Jamoom Fighters, Makkah Eagles and UT Lines scored easy wins against their respective opponents in the 5th week matches of the Jotun Paints Saudi Cup which is sponsored by Jotun Paints and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA). In other matches Saudi Oil, Butt Sports, ARM United, Naseem Al-Zahra and Al-Burj also recorded convincing wins.
A scintillating knock of 106 runs by Malik Aijaz in 33 balls with 12 fours and 6 sixes enabled Makkah Eagles crush Eirad Travel by 126 runs. Qaiser's solid 50 helped Jamoom Fighters down Hyderabad Green by 5 wickets. UT Lines overcame Jamoom Tigers mainly due to Shad Mohammed's 71 and Nazir's fine spell of 4-21. Salman's polished 71 enabled Saudi Oil outclass AEC by 46 runs. Tauseef's unbeaten 132 off 48 balls with 13 fours and 7 sixes gave Butt Sports a 23-run win despite a fightback by Kashmir Stags. ARM continued its unbeaten run with a 63-run win against Pak Makkah once again courtesy of Nazeer's chanceless 94 off 58 balls with 7 fours and 4 sixes. Naseem Al-Zahra raced to an 8-wicket win as its bowlers skittled Riyadh Foods for 111 and reached the target in 8.1 overs. Kamran of Al-Burj stroked 73 to steer his team to a 72-run win over Al-Zafer.
