GEA supports Bisat Al-Reeh Charity Fair in Jeddah
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 21 - 05 - 2019

In collaboration with organizations supporting community and non-profit initiatives, the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) oversaw the "Bisat Alreeh 20" Charity Fair held under the patronage of Adila Bint Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and organized by the National Home Health Care Foundation. GEA's support for this event comes to support its keenness to consolidate sustainability in developing the entertainment sector and maximize the positive impact of community projects on all segments of society.
Based on the principle of "Entertainment is a right for everyone", GEA supports this fair within a community partnership, in line with its relentless efforts to promote and support the noble objectives of charitable initiatives with a sustainable qualitative impact, while also offering various entertainment options. It has so far largely succeeded in combining charitable and recreational work, achieving the desired benefit and value.
The six-day fair, which takes place annually during the holy month of Ramadan, seeks to attract various segments of society and satisfy different tastes with the participation of elite charitable foundations and prestigious companies in art and creativity from the Kingdom, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, etc. The event targets young talents, keeping abreast of the new generation's capabilities and skills, and displaying distinctive products made with skilled Saudi hands. It also comes to confirm the ongoing impact of sustainable charity and embody the values of social responsibility, as well as provide home health care services for persons with disabilities in different regions of the kingdom.
This event also aims to raise funds to support a number of charity programs under the National Charity for Home Health Care which provides its services at 9 centers throughout the kingdom, including medical services, social and recreational services, hospitality, and other services that contribute towards stabilizing the physical and mental health of special-needs patients and their families.
Furthermore, this year's edition was characterized by artistic touches, new and distinctive ideas, and sophisticated cultural taste presented by exhibitors and participants. It featured more than 155 Saudi, GCC, and Arab pavilions showcasing their products.
The "Bisat Alreeh" fair is considered a major supporter of the National Charity for Home Health Care's resources and all its associates. Over the past few years, it has become one of the most important events that combine meetings, business, and charitable fairs, and provides about 500 jobs for Saudi talents. It is a permanent and important pillar for the continuation of this Charity, which has opened its doors to help all those who need home health care through various services, including beds for patients, medical devices to help them complete their lives with ease, etc. — SG
