JPCC, Natco, Tamar, Deccan Knights win

JEDDAH — JPCC cruised past ACE Travel by 82 runs, Natco had the better of Jawar Al-Jazirah winning by 5 wickets, Deccan Knights surprised Kanoo with a 78-run win and Kanoo Travel lost to Tamar by 2 wickets in the Ace Travel Premier League, which is sponsored By Ace Travel and Tours and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA) here.
Batting first, Jeddah Projects amassed 222-4. Khurram was the main contributor with 74 runs off 40 balls (5x6 and 5x4), while Shareef notched up an impressive 54 off 32 balls (7x4 and 1x6). The two put on 96 runs for the second wicket partnership. Later, Rashid contributed a quick-fire 37 off 16 balls (4x4 and 1x6) and Jawad chipped in with 38 (3x6 and 1x4). Ishtiaq, Ashfaq and Saeed took one wicket each.
Chasing 223 for victory, ACE was restricted to 140 with only Wajid Samdani (37), Syed Aleem (27), Ayaz (32) putting up some resistance. Saleem claimed 2-32, while Jawad and Mujahed got one each to give their side a massive win by 82 runs.
Natco beat Jawar Al-Jazirah by 5 wickets. Jawar Al-Jazirah was bundled out for 146 with Shan top-scoring with 37. It simply could not tackle the sharp and fast spin of Humayun Farooq, who bowled a deadly spell, claiming 5 top scalps for 27 runs. Shahzad took 2-25.
In reply, Natco scored the required runs for the loss of 5 wickets with 2 overs to spare. Jamshed (39), Abdul Rauf (34), Humayun (25) and Shahzad (27) knocked off the required runs for the loss of 5 wickets. Shaan Manzoor claimed 2-34.
Deccan Knights beat Kanoo by 78 runs in a one-sided match. Deccan Knights scored 221-6. Openers Imran (19) and Najeeb (71) went on a run feast as they made 50 in four overs. Najeeb was the dominant partner, scoring 71 off only 31 balls with 12 fours and 2 sixes. Later, Inayath scored a brisk 50 (4x4 and 2x6) and Sohail 30 (3x4 and 2x6). Manoor claimed 3-38 and Tabrez 2-33.
In reply, Kanoo was all out for a paltry 143. Rashid made 33 (3x4 and 2x6), Athar 36 (3x4 and 2x6) and Mansoor 20 n.o. Athar and Ahmad grabbed 3 victims each for 32 and 26 runs, respectively. Rabbani claimed 2-16 and Inayath 1 for 14.
Tamar won by 2 wickets against Kanoo Travel, which batting first scored 189-7. A superb 61 (3x4 and 4x6) came from old war horse Haroon. He was well supported by Adnan 64 off 38 balls (6x4 and 4x6). Khalid Butt bowled a tight line to pick up 3-60, while Naveed took 2-21.
In reply, Khalid Butt (35) and Waseem (45) batted sensibly to ensure Tamer reached the target (190-8). Haroon, Ishaq, and Zahid claimed 2 wickets each for 25, 30 and 28 runs, respectively.
