Some 14,000 used textbooks of International Indian School Jeddah were distributed for free to needy students by the Indian Cultural Society Jeddah (ICSJ) and Bazm-e-Osmania here recently. Some parents came all the way from Makkah, Madina, Taif and Yanbu to collect textbooks, an ICSJ press release said. ICSJ has been collecting used textbooks after annual exams and distributing these for free to the needy for the past several years, said ICSJ president Arif Quraishi. He said ICSJ members and some school students had been working tirelessly to collect, sort and arrange the textbooks as per the syllabus of each class.
