Indian Cultural Society Jeddah distributed some 10,500 textbooks to the needy students of International Indian School Jeddah, Monday and Tuesday, at the start of the new academic year. Some 14,500 textbooks were collected as part of the yearly book collection drive by ICSJ, said ICSJ president Arif Quraishi. Some 4,000 textbooks were discarded because of the poor condition. Parents from as far as Taif, Yanbu and Makkah visited Jeddah to collect the textbooks free of cost.
