Gen. Mansour Al-Turki, security spokesman at the Ministry of Interior. They were wanted terrorists — Fadhil Al-Hamada and Muhammad Al-Suwaimil who were involved in several attacks on security facilities and security personnel. Al-Hamada, a hardcore terrorist, was involved in the killing of at least 10 security officials in different terror attacks. Al-Turki said that Al-Suwaimil was involved along with other terrorists in the kidnapping and killing of Deputy Sergeant Hashim Al-Zahrani and killing of Corp. Abdullah Al-Dalbahi in Qatif. He was also involved in firing on security men. It was also found that a machine-gun found in the car was used in firing at Qatif police station. The spokesman said the terrorists were driving a Toyota Sequoia SUV that they had stolen a few months ago in order to use it for terror attacks. The car filled with explosives exploded, shaking the entire neighborhood. Videos posted on social media showed plumes of smoke and flames rising from a burning SUV near the scene of the attack. Witnesses confirmed the sounds of gunfire accompanied the attack.
