RIYADH — Kohinoor Toastmasters Club, one of the senior-most clubs here, conducted its 20th Annual Day celebration, including the induction of its new executive committee, at Almas Restaurant Auditorium here. The new excom members are TM Girijan S Nair – president, TM Shobitha A.K – VP Education, TM Gopakumar Nair – VP membership, TM Edwin Chungath – VP public relations, TM Ajith Nambiar – secretary, TM Manish Xavier — treasurer and TM Furquan S Ahmed — Serg @ Arms. The induction was done by DTM Samer Kamal, and the event was chaired by TM Praveen Aloor. Outgoing president TM Dr. KC Narayan presented the annual report, highlighting the key achievements of the club during the program year 2016-2017. Incoming president, TM Girijan presented a road map and his priorities area in his acceptance speech. Toastmasters who have outstandingly performed during the past year were felicitated during the event. Club Founding Member TM Ebrahim Sabjan took the audience through the glorious past memories of the club. The event saw senior Toastmasters and dignitaries from the Toastmasters fraternity including TM Cecille Valencia (Director, Area 2) and TM Sudhakar Padmanabhan (VPE, President elect, Riyadh TM Club) attending. Talented Toastmasters and their family members entertained the audience with a variety of cultural programs and games.
