The Western Union T20 Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Western Union has entered into the knockout stage.
In Al-Kharj League, Lahore Lions beat Amer Holidays by 18 runs. Lahore Lions, batting first, scored 224-9. Qamar made 73 and Nawaz 43. Saeed picked up 3 wickets. Amer Holidays, in reply, managed 206-6 through Irfan (71), Shams (51) and Samiullah (43). Mansoor claimed 2 wickets.
KFSH Riyadh Warriors defeated Friends CC by 5 runs. KFSH Riyadh Warriors, electing to bat first, managed 184. Adeel hit 44, Amjad 34 and Nasir 24. Usman grabbed 3 wickets, while Nouman and Latafat got 2 each. Friends CC replied with 179. Hashim scored 64, while Qaiser and Irshad added 30 each. Majid Bashir picked up 5 wickets and Yaseen 2.
Pak Shaheen prevailed over Sama Steel by 37 runs. Pak Shaheen posted a huge total of 294-3. Abdul Waheed hit 140, Ishaq 52, Faisal 42 and Abdul Wahab 38. Imran and Ijaz took 1 wicket each. Sama Steel, in reply, reached 257-9. Imran stroked 68, Farman 35 and Ramzan 30. Abdul Wahab, Ishaq and Faisal bagged 2 each. KFSH Riyadh Warriors downed Pak Shaheen by 39 runs. KFSH Riyadh Warriors posted 232-7. Amjad Ali scored 85, Munawar 40 and Basit 33. Faisal picked up 2 wickets. Pak Shaheen, in reply, managed 193. Abdul Qadir made 65 and Abdul Wahab 53. Mateen Abbasi claimed 5-19 and Munawar 3.
In the semifinals, KFSH Riyadh Warriors will play Sama Steel and Pak Shaheen will meet Lahore Badshah.
In Hayer League, Kashmir CC beat TBCC by 3 wickets. TBCC was restricted to 156. Hakeem made 33. Shoaib picked up 4 wickets. Kashmir CC got to the target in 17.3 overs. Sardar scored 32 and Basharat 29. Asif and Israr got 2 wickets each.
Swat Tigers defeated Etihad CC by 65 runs. Swat Tigers scored 203-5. Atif grabbed 3 wickets and Arsalan 2. Etihad CC managed 138. Farhat scored 38 and Nabeel 27.
Raavi CC downed Sulaiman XI by 7 wickets. Sulaiman XI posted 128. Nasir top scored with 52. Zain picked up 4 wickets and Shahbaz 2. Raavi CC achieved the target in 11.4 overs. Zia hit 54 and Usman 40.
Tigers CC beat Rising Stars CC by 7 runs. Tigers CC posted 184-7. Sailesh scored 100. Shaukat claimed 4 wickets. Rising Stars were all out for 177. Asghar contributed 38 and Waseem 37. Usman, Shakeel, Riyadh and Sailesh got 2 wickets each.
Challengers XI defeated Asia XI by 49 runs. Challengers XI scored 172. Shamnad made 45. Aluddin picked up 3 wickets and Rukan 2. Asia XI managed 123. Mubarak hit 28. Habeeb picked up 4 wickets, while Faisal and Ashraf took 2 each.
In Diriyah League, the match between Seham CC and Afridi CC ended in a tie. Batting first Seham posted 202. Amjad scored 97 and Alamgir 41. Sami grabbed 2 wickets. Afridi CC, in reply, also managed 202.
Professionals Creation CC beat KAMS IndoPak CC by 15 runs. Professionals Creation CC scored 177 through Subair (50) and Abid (47). Naveed Hassan Khan claimed 3 wickets with a hat trick. KAMS IndoPak CC managed 162. Wajahath scored 43 and Venkata 40. Shiva and Subair bagged 3 wickets each. — SG
