KSA reiterates support for US strikes on Syrian targets
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 11 - 04 - 2017

RAWDAT KHURAIM — The Council of Ministers on Monday pledged full support for US air strikes on Syrian military targets in retaliation for the Assad regime's heinous crimes against the Syrian people.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman chaired the weekly session of the Cabinet in Rawdat Khuraim.
Adel Al-Turaifi, minister of culture and information, said that the Cabinet voiced its strong condemnation of the chemical attacks on the town of Khan Sheikhoun in the northern Syrian province of Idlib that claimed the lives of scores of innocent civilians, including women and children.
The Cabinet described it as a new human tragedy committed by the Syrian regime.
It reiterated the Kingdom's firm position on safeguarding the unity and integrity of Syria, and efforts to find a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis on the basis of the Geneva 1 Conference declaration and the UN Security Council Resolution 2254 and other relevant international resolutions so as to end the human tragedy there, Turaifi said in a statement carried by Saudi Press Agency.
He said the Cabinet also condemned terrorist attacks in Tanta and Alexandria in Egypt, St. Petersburg in Russia and Stockholm in Sweden. It emphasized the Kingdom's firm position, articulated by King Salman during his telephone talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Russian President Vladimir Putin, against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, as well as the need to intensify global efforts to stamp it out.
Turaifi said the Cabinet approved the decision that the State will bear the expense of entry visa fees for seasonal workers who are to be hired to implement the Kingdom's Sacrificial Meat Utilization Project for a period of five years.
