Osrah helping couples rekindle their love

Osrah (family), a charitable organization is concerned over the ever increasing divorce rate in the Kingdom. To bring divorce rates to a halt and save families from pain and distress, Osrah has come up with a new and unique way of reuniting couples by again adding a spark of love in their life.
The organization offers couples an accommodation in a nice hotel for one night, to alone spend some qualitative time together, far away from the distractions and problems of their life, and rekindle those tender moments they once shared.
Sometimes standing from a distance and looking at the problem from the outside allows you to see it from a fresh perspective and gives you the chance to think of feasible, positive outcomes.
The organization has helped countless married couples and families stick together in the past and this simple yet touching idea will surely help two partners rediscover themselves.
Professional marriage counselors at Osrah and specialists in psychology advise couples on retaining their marital bliss by supporting them until they solve their problems.
“Osrah covers the expenses for the couple to spend one night at a hotel to overcome their differences and make a pact to save the marriage. The most common reason for marital problems and divorce is lack of adequate awareness and preparation for married life on the part of the husband. Some men incorrectly view marriage as a mere friendship or as an opportunistic relationship,” said Dr. Muhammad Bin Abdullah Al-Saif, Director General of Osrah in Buraidah.
Al-Saif warned couples against watching misleading soap operas. He said, “Watching these shows that are void of reality and morals poses danger on the harmony and stability in marriages. When a wife begins to compare her husband to the seemingly perfect husband on the television show and vice-versa, problems arise.
The serials on television only show the positive side of marriage and do not show the stresses and responsibilities of daily life. A desire for the luxuries shown in these shows may lead a woman to demand these fine things and expensive gifts from her husband which he may be unable to afford, further exacerbating their problems.” __
