ETIHAD Etisalat (Mobily) represented by its Business Unit signed last March 7 a strategic partnership agreement with Machines Talk Co, a pioneer national IoT company. Eng. Ismail Alghamdi, Chief Business Officer, signed the agreement on behalf of Mobily with Eng. Nawaf Alshalani, Machines Talk Managing Director. Mobily Business will provide, as per this agreement, several smart and innovative products like fleet and asset management to satisfy the needs of government and private sectors. This agreement reflects Mobily's efforts in developing and improving business sector services in the Kingdom by collaborating with national companies to provide the latest digital and technological solutions and continue its Internet of Things innovations. Eng. Ismail Alghamdi said "our investments towards expansion in IoT solutions comply with Mobily Business strategy and ongoing quest to support digital transformation and develop Telecommunication & IT market to achieve Kingdom's Vision 2030." The agreement will open the door for many services and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions that will be provided to government and private sectors which use technology to achieve operational efficiency and cost reduction with additional added values to organizations. Fleet management service is now available and will allow customer the ability to manage and monitor company vehicles anytime and anyplace, in addition to other features like prior alert management when vehicle cross defined area zones or over speed. Moreover, customer will receive alerts about maintenance schedule, following vehicle drivers and preparing periodic reports.
