The Ritz Carlton, Riyadh launches longest-ever brunch to satisfy all.
Spring is almost here which means it's the perfect weather to brunch. The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh is pleased to launch the longest brunch in the Kingdom at Al Orjouan, where family and friends can feaston the most delectable treats that are guaranteed to entice even the faintest of hearts.
Now taking place every Friday from 9am- 5pm, the brunch - prepared by a skilled culinary brigade helmed by the famous Chef Juraj Kalna - is an experience which elevates even the most mundane of weekends to a celebration of good food andgreat company. The restaurant has long been renowned for bringing together a lavish gastronomic experience coupled with a luxurious ambience and family-friendly amenities. This spring, it will be paired with a host of culturally-enriching activities, making Al Orjouan the perfect place to create some unforgettable memories.
Guests begin their Arabian brunch adventure with a traditional welcome drink - strongly brewed Arabic coffee and datesfollowed by a traditional hand wash ceremony can experience the fascinating art of Arabic calligraphy and watch how letters truly comes to life with this form of art.
Kids can enjoy their own little brunch with a dedicated kid buffet including an assortment of healthy and delicious choices for our little ones along with an array of fun-filled kidsactivities including a magic show, face painting, bowling and a kids-friendly movie screening. Not to forget, a candy bar, mascots and clowns to entertain the little ones all day long.
Al Orjouan also offers visitors a visual treat, with spectacular fountains, mature palms and immaculate manicured gardens that entertain you before you are met with impressive scale of the architecture of the building with an entrance fit for a king. The delectable assortment of culinary delights includes freshly baked goods and the finest selection of seafood cooked to the diners' preference at the live cooking stations – grilled, steamed, fried or poached. Delightful desserts are also available to sweeten the palate, including lemon meringue tarts, pineapple caramel and a selection of fruits and sweets to accompany the ever-flowing chocolate fountain.
The brunch is available every Friday from 9:00am – 5:00 pm at 325 SAR per person, inclusive of juices and mocktails, and 145 SAR for children aged 6-12 years.
Hong Re-launches At The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh
After its two maiden years in serving traditional and authentic Chinese cuisines in the Kingdom's capital; Hong, the Chinese diner at The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh is re-launching the outlet with the introduction of its new Chef De Cuisine – Peter Li, an enriched menu concept, a serene ambience and a casual dining experience.
Visiting guests are welcomed by the hospitable hosts donned in their new-fangled uniforms, and are offered with the fine selection of old-fashioned teas in various flavors.
With seating capacity of 60, visitors will not just relish the palate, aroma and authenticity of each food presentation, but will be mesmerized by the interiors' opulent calligraphy masterpiece to the raw silk furnishings and elusive mood lighting.
Chef Li offers a combination of traditional and modern Szechuan and Cantonese specialties amidst the contemporary setting and delicate attention to detail atmosphere of the restaurant.
Hong's signature dishes include a mixed seafood in oyster sauce, and a traditionally-roasted Peking duck which is one of the finest in Riyadh; while a couple of fresh offerings await the patrons such as Classical Salt Baked Lamb Chops and a Tea-Smoked Char Siu Chicken.
"I'm passionate in innovating and refining the traditional Chinese recipes I have grown up with and I'm so thrilled to have the opportunity to share you my personal interpretations and ideas about the modern Chinese gastronomies." said Chef De Cuisine Li.
Perfecting the overall Hong experience is the invigorating beverage concept which includes Signature Serves such as Matcha Ceremony, Jasmine Garden, and Princess of China, all of which are made from freshly squeezed fruit juices, spices, and special sourced ingredients.
From the usual fine dining approach, the whole menu has been refreshed to cater to a more casual and discerning guests.
