Thousands of citizens and residents turned out for the 31st National Festival for Heritage and Culture (Jenadriya) that just took place in the capital. With their first joint participation in this national festival, Shell Saudi Arabia and Wallan Hyundai together hosted a pavilion that was visited by countless people who were eager to learn more about the history of the world's largest lubricant producer for ten consecutive years. Representatives of Shell Saudi Arabia and Wallan - the official dealer of Hyundai cars in the Central Region - welcomed visitors of all ages at their pavilion, which aimed to introduce the only genuine Hyundai motor oils in Saudi Arabia: Shell Helix HX5 AH 15W40 and Shell Helix Ultra AH 5W-40, along with the latest lubricant production technologies (Shell PurePlus and Active Cleansing). On this occasion, Firas Wehbe, Marketing Manager of Industrial, OEM/FWS & Retail at Shell FastLube, Shell Saudi Arabia, expressed his pleasure about the participation in this great event and commented that despite the fact that the National Festival for Heritage and Culture was launched 31 years ago, it still is as relevant and popular as ever. He further noted: "Every year, Jenadriya constitutes an outstanding platform for the Saudi culture and heritage. We were very keen to be part of this extraordinary event in order to demonstrate Shell and Saudi Arabia's strong relationship that goes back more than 75 years." Shell Saudi Arabia and Wallan Hyundai's participation in this year's festival coincides with the extension of their global Technical Partnership in the World Rally Championship (WRC). Under this partnership, Shell supplies Hyundai cars with Shell Helix (with PurePlus technology) co-branded motor oils, as Shell is the recommended and preferred aftermarket motor oil supplier for Hyundai vehicles worldwide. The two companies have now been cooperating for a decade. Shell Saudi Arabia has developed a complete set of original motor oils for Hyundai in Saudi Arabia, including Shell Helix HX5 AH 15W40 and Shell Helix Ultra AH 5W-40 with PurePlus Technology that both meet the requirements of Hyundai car engines. This is in addition to the designation of various Shell FastLube Centers in Riyadh as authorized service centers for Wallan Hyundai. Over the past two weeks, Shell Saudi Arabia and Wallan Hyundai jointly carried out several activities and unveiled the PurePlus technology, which is a revolutionary process that converts natural gas into crystal-clear base oil for motor oil. To interact with the large audience who visited the Shell Saudi Arabia & Wallan Hyundai pavilion, both parties held an exciting contest that gave booth visitors the chance to win a Hyundai Accent 2017 car as the grand prize. In addition, the two companies gave away more than 100,000 vouchers that each can be redeemed at any Shell FastLube Service Centre.
