Usman lights up Kanoo Premier League with ton

Jeddah - Jamoom Tigers led by a superb unbeaten 112 by Usman Butt downed UT Lines by 62 runs, while Jamoom Fighters, Chaudhary XI and ECU Lines also came out on top in the 3rd week matches of Kanoo Premier League.
The tournament is sponsored by Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association. Jamoom Tigers scored an imposing total of 229 for 5, thanks to a beautiful innings by the consistent Usman Butt. He notched up an unbeaten 112 studded with 13 fours and 5 sixes which enabled his team to beat UT Lines by 62 runs.
Jamoom Fighters inspired by Haneef's solid 68 powered to a fighting win over Al-Burj by 39 runs. Chaudhary XI chalked out an exciting win over the fancied Saudi Oil bundling it out for 139 runs and then racing to a 5-wicket win with Farooq's unblemished unbeaten 55 runs.
ECU Lines surprised ARM United by 39 runs with good performances from Javed (57) and Karamat (51). Kashif also helped the cause by taking 4 wickets for 17.
Jamoom Tigers beat UT Lines by 62 runs. Jamoom Tigers 229 for 5 - Usman Butt 112 not out, Majed 34; Shabbir 2-36. UT Lines 167 all out - Khalid 63, Muzammil 42, Shahid 29; Irfan 4-37, Saeed 3-16.
Jamoom Fighters beat Al Burj by 39 runs. Jamoom Fighters 199 for 8 - Haneef 68, Aslam 27; Usman 2-27, Rizwan 2-23, Waleed 2-42. Al-Burj 160 all out - Kamran 33, Usman 24; Usman 2-27, Adnan 2-28, Azam 2-24.
Chaudhary X1 beat Saudi Oil by 5 wickets. Saudi Oil 139 all out - Ashiq Ali 28, Mohsin 25, Ayaz 24, Faiz 3-30, Shafaqat 2-15, Waqas 2-19. Chaudhary X1 141 for 5 - Bilal 42, Farooq 55 not out; Raheeb 2-22.
ECU Lines beat ARM United by 39 runs. ECU Lines 203 for 4 - Javed 57, Karamat 51, Omar 29 not out, Shahid 33 not out; Qureshi 3-28. ARM United 164 all out - Sami 51, Majid 35; Kashif 4-17, Abdul Rahman 2-46, Omar 2-39, Ahmad 2-8.
