RIYADH — Round 8 matches of the SAIB T20 Tournament were played here. This tournament is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi Arabian Investment Bank (SAIB).
Hayer League
Riyadh Panthers outplayed PTI CC by 7 wickets. PTI CC was all out for 109. Raza Husnain was the chief destroyer who took 6-22 including a hat trick. Fahad also bowled well and took 4 wickets. Panthers reached the target in 19 overs. Raza Husnain scored 50 and Asim 30. Pakistan Falcons Red beat Riyadh Fighters PPF by 48 runs. Falcons, batting first, posted 176-8. Adil and Saim shared 2 wickets each for Riyadh Fighters PPF. Riyadh Fighters PPF managed 128-9 in reply. Kashif scored 29 and Amir 25. Rabbani and Zafar took 2 wickets each. Rising Stars CC beat Black Caps CC by 3 wickets. Black Caps scored 127. Sharafat Abbasi picked up 3 wickets. Rising Stars achieved the target in 15.3 overs. Noman scored 34 and Omar 26.
Al-Harbi CC defeated Raavi CC by 37 runs. Al-Harbi scored 198. Farooq added 79 and Shahid 29. Afzal claimed 3 wickets and Adnan 2. Raavi CC, in reply, managed 161. Shahbaz added 64 and Adnan 41. Salman Shahid grabbed 4 wickets and Shahid Khan 3.
Thales CC got the better of Tigers CC by 37 runs. Thales recorded 183-7. Aziz scored 49 and Tabraiz 31. Kamran and Junaid picked up 2 wickets each. Tigers CC managed 146 in reply. Kamran and Mujahid contributed 27 each. Abdul Waheed claimed 3 wickets and Tabraiz 2.
Diriyah League
Smashers CC beat Youngsters XI by 3 wickets. Youngsters XI scored 155. Anees top scored with 53. M. Zeeshan took 4 wickets including a hat trick. Smashers got to the target in 19.4 overs. Fahim hit 75. Asim took 2 wickets.
King Lions XI upset Seham CC by 48 runs. King Lions XI put on 135. Tahseen, Asif, Naveed and Awais grabbed 2 wickets each. Seham CC was bowled out for 86. Amir contributed 28.
Karachi Kings thrashed Abana CC by 9 wickets. Abana CC tallied 122-9. Majid scored 31. Asghar Khan picked up 3 wickets and Ali Arif 2. Kings won the match in 11.2 overs. Ajab Khan blasted 63 and Asghar Khan 43.
Challengers XI beat Charsadah Kings by 26 runs. Challengers XI posted 189-8. Viral added 49 and Junaid 39. Charsadah Kings managed 163-9. Ijaz hit 43. Anish, Ashraf and Faisal took 2 wickets each.
Etihad CC got the better of Delhi Dare Devils by 12 runs. Etihad CC collected 201-5. Talseen scored 64 and Sajjid 43. Amir picked up 2 wickets. Delhi Dare Devils managed 189-8 in reply. Ramzan hit 40. Aslam claimed 3 wickets and Ahsan 2.
Pak Riderz CC downed Kingdom Warriors by 104 runs. Pak Riderz scored 219. Fawad made 38 and Aziz 34. Warriors, in reply, managed 115. Hussain scored 56. Fawad Ur Rehman grabbed 4 wickets and Pervaiz 2.
