Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is an ideal for the the entire human kind and as such all have to follow his Sunnah in all spheres of life, noted Islamic scholar, Dr. Mohammad Najeeb Qasmi, has said. "Allah the Exalted has kept all the Sunnah of His beloved Prophet (pbuh) alive and it is being practiced worldwide by his followers," he said. Dr. Qasmi, author of several islamic books, said imparting the message of peace in accordance with the life of the Prophet (pbuh) is needed to confront the many challenges faced by the Ummah. In his presentation, Dr. Qasmi threw light on almost all the valuable aspects of the Seerat and presented it in a way that all could easily benefit from it. It contains brief historical events that took place during the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and emphasizes on lessons we need to learn from those events. Dr. Qasmi also said that the entire life of the Prophet (pbuh) teaches Muslims to be patient and face all the challenges (which are coming in their ways on both the national and international levels) with wisdom and maturity. Muslims need to strengthen their relationship with Allah. At the end Dr. Najeeb Qasmi emphasized on the need for reading Seerat of the Prophet (pbuh) and training our children accordingly. The program at the weekend began with the recitation of some verse of the Qur'an by Maulana Abdurrahman Umari. It was attended by Prof. Dr. Syed Sarwar Hussain, Indian School Principal Dr. Shaukat Perwez, Abdul Azeem Khan, Dr. Hafeezur Rahman Falahi, Dr. Musharraf Ali, Dr. Shehroz Khan, Ghizal Mahdi, Khursheed Anwar and Dr. Dilshad Ahmad Alig among others.
