Fakieh Group, ICHTHUS, JDC Veterans and Legend bag trophies

JEDDAH — JDC Veterans of playing coach Abdulaziz Yu defeated Wasalak 40's 83-70 for the championship of 40 & Above here in the Seiko Watch–JBL Basketball Tournament at AlBaik basketball court in Khalidia District here.
Garcia scored 25 points for the winner and was adjudged the Seiko Watch best player of the game. Aquino made 19 points for the loser.
This tournament is principally sponsored by Seiko Watch of Al-Hussaini & Al-Yahya Investment Group (Othman Al-Hussaini). The co-sponsors are Nesma Airlines (Faisal Al-Turki), Rabea Tea, Giordano Fashions (Ahmadullah), New Cabalen Restaurant (Japh Villanueva) and Ric Printing.
The awarding ceremony was spearheaded by Mohammed Rasheed with the support of JBL staff and friends. Ahmad Peradilla of Jeddah Dawah Center and a Jeddah business man Ronald Mangua presented the trophies and Giordano gifts plus a SR100 Fuddruckers coupon to Eduardo Carbonel Jr., MVP of Inter-Company Group A.
The awardees in the 40 and above Division are: JDC Veterans — champion, Wasalak 40's — 1st runner-up, BHBC — 2nd runner-up and Khalidia 40's — 3rd runner-up.
The elite Mythical Five: Rayan Manlangit (JDC Veterans), Gadiana (BHBC), Batalon (Khalidia 40's), Garcia (JDC Veterans) and Aquino (Wasalak 40's). Abdulaziz Ricky Yu of JDC Veterans was awarded the Best Coach prize, while Callueng (JDC Veterans) was adjudged the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
Non-rated Group A Division: ICHTHUS — champion, Khalidia Tambayz — 1st runner-up, Pazadaure Kings — 2nd runner-up and Tetra Pak — 3rd runner-up.
The elite Mythical Five: Mariano Manuel (ICHTHUS), King Acosta (Khalidia Tambayz), Laput (Tetra Pak), Manuel (Pazadaure) and Ogie David (ICHTHUS). Nap Solis (ICHTHUS) was named the Best Coach, while Eduardo Carbonel Jr. (ICHTHUS) was adjudged the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
Non-rated Group B Division: Fakieh Group — champion, New Cabalen Restaurant–R Printing — 1st runner-up, Wasalak — 2nd runner-up and Knights — 3rd runner-up.

Inter-Dawah Mission Division: JDC Legend — champion, JDC All Star A — 1st runner-up, Khalidia Balik Islam — 2nd runner-up and Breman Islamic Center — 3rd runner-up.
The elite Mythical Five: Jameel Cobre (JDC All Star A), Rayan Manlangit (JDC Legend), Abdallah Lapiz (Breman Islamic Center), Dawood Antonio (JDC Legend) and Rasheed Gandaruza (Khalidia Balik Islam). Abdulaziz Ricky Yu of JDC Legend was named as the Best Coach, while Jaber Gonzales (JDC Legend) was adjudged the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
