Dubai Jewelry Week set for another dazzling show
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 09 - 11 - 2016

SPARKLING designs shown off by movie stars at the Oscars and a unique collection combining nature and precious metals will be among the big attractions at the Dubai International Jewellery Week.
Visitors to the Middle East's most influential jewelry exhibition are well-accustomed to dazzling performances, and the 21st edition of the show running on Dec. 7-10 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) will not disappoint.
Among the cast of 300 local, regional and international retailers taking part a New Delhi-based jeweler Hazoorilal Legacy will be displaying hi-end fine jewelry made of gold with diamonds, precious gemstones and polki (uncut diamonds), technically innovative pieces that can be worn in many ways, allowing women to decide on their own signature style without the need to purchase multiple jewelry items.
Rohan Narang, Director at Hazoorilal Legacy, said: "Among our many exceptional pieces, including contemporary Red Carpet designs that have been worn on the international circuits such as the Oscars and BAFTA awards, we will also be displaying a collection of multi-layered and functional, elegant and fashionable jewelry pieces.
"Visitors to our stand will be able to buy from a wide selection of bracelets, chandelier earrings, traditional earrings, and cocktail rings. We will also showcase some of our award winning signature styles like multi-layered necklaces, traditional bracelets with a jhumki earring that can be taken off and worn as a pendant or big cocktail rings that stretch out as a full finger ring."
Also exhibiting unique pieces will be La Vie En, a Kazkakhstani brand, bringing to the show a striking collection of designs made from real plants and flowers covered with 24K gold and silver.
"Our jewelry sets are unique since nature does not create two identical plants," said Rufina Abdussalamova, Owner at La Vie En."Among many items we'll bring to Dubai a necklace made of real rose petals covered in gold, earrings made of daisies covered in gold and silver, and gold bracelet featuring a mimosa. "
Overall, the exhibition will showcase more than 10,000 jewelry designs from around the world and feature jewelry and fashion master classes and workshops during which participants will have an exclusive opportunity to learn the best ways of complimenting a variety of outfits with jewelry from leading stylists, fashionistas, and expert bloggers.
Admission to the Dubai International Jewelry Week is free to the general public, while anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
