Necklaces, rings still top bridal favorites

Once again it is the radiant glow of gold which heralds this wedding season with Dubai retailers offering special promotions during one of the most important occasions of the year.
It is also the season when the “City of Gold” turns into the “Bridal Jewelry Destination of the World” offering the finest and largest variety of the most bewitching Italian, Indian and Arabic gold jewelry collections designed to make a bride's dream come true. According to wedding jewelry styles presented on runways this year, necklaces and rings lead the way as favorites.
Anan Fakhreddin, World Gold Council's managing director, Middle East and Turkey, said: “A wedding represents the most auspicious time in a woman's life, heralding a lifetime of joy and togetherness. Its warm, golden glow and timeless immutable qualities perfectly epitomizes everything a wedding stands for, such as abiding commitment and lasting love. Most bridal gold jewelry pieces such as pendant chains and rings especially are meant be worn over a lifetime and are often passed down to future generations.”
In most cultures wedding rings are viewed as being the most auspicious of all, and its presence on one's finger instantly recalls the special day. Enhancing a bride's profile to flattering effect, earrings play an important role in a bride's wedding-day look. Particularly favored this season are chandelier earrings designed to drop almost to shoulder-length. While elaborate studs are equally stunning and eye catching. It's of course best to try on different styles to see what looks best with your bridal outfit's neckline, and the hairstyle you are planning to wear.
In a bridal jewelry set, neck adornments take centre stage and often hog the limelight. Highly decorative pieces, necklace styles can range from elegant and classic pieces that are simple yet intricate to more lavish, multi-layer ones. Top of the list are chokers, followed by multi-layered necklaces with Indian brides particularly favoring the latter. Gold jewelry being an important and intrinsic part of the nation's culture, brides hailing from different regions adorn themselves with traditional necklaces and pendant chains of ethnically rich flavor.
Next in line this season come bold bangles and cuff bracelets in dramatic styles. Particularly favoured are nature-inspired vintage style designs which add a romantic touch to a bridal ensemble. Endowed with a filigree-like beauty which is highly feminine and charming, one other option to wear them is to stack several such slender pieces together.
However, if you are still undecided about the right gold jewelry designs, you might consider having your wedding jewelry custom-made. In fact several brides allow their latent design abilities to unfurl by getting their designs crafted in the universal metal of choice, gold. __
