Saudi Build 2016 expo secures large commercial deals at close

Saudi Build exhibition 2016, the largest construction show in Saudi Arabia, wrapped up its activities for this year last Thursday at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, with more than 530 local, regional and international exhibitors from more than 30 countries, represented by 12 national pavilions. The exhibition witnessed many specialized audience that reached 18,764 visitors, from businessmen, decision makers, government officials and construction specialists seeking the latest technologies, services and products in the construction field.
The 28th edition of the UFI accredited Exhibition was held for 4 days along with the "Saudi Stone-Tech 2016", the 19th International Stone & Stone Technology Exhibition and the "Saudi build PMV series", the 7th International Exhibition for Construction Equipment, Plant, Machinery and Vehicles.
This Exhibition that attracted a remarkable number of decision makers and professionals, featured a wide range of products, services and technologies related to construction from finishing products, construction techniques, construction material, external solutions, equipment, construction vehicles to Consultancy Services
The exhibitors expressed their contentment with the show in terms of the strategic position it holds and the importance of the role it plays in promoting the partnerships between local and international companies which drive sustainability. The exhibition offered huge business opportunities for its participants and witnessed the signing of several large-scale business deals.
The construction sector is one of the largest economic sectors in the Kingdom, where the total number of companies operating in the building and construction field add up to 243, 000 companies. Saudi Build exhibition has succeeded in gathering the different key players of this sector under one roof to discuss the challenges and opportunities for huge construction projects in Saudi Arabia.
Shahid Bhatti, the Exhibition project manager, said: "The importance of Saudi Build 2016 exhibition lies in highlighting the development of the fastest growing sector in the Kingdom, and bringing together the public and private sectors. The success that this exhibition has achieved throughout the years has been positively reflected in the increase of the number of international, regional and local participations this year.
He added: "This show is the leading platform supporting the sustainable growth of the construction sector, that promotes the interaction between decision-makers, government officials and business owners."
