RCA Amex T20 enters knockout stage

RIYADH — After completing the last round of league stage, RCA Amex T20 is set to begin the knockout quarterfinals. Organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA), this tournament is sponsored by The American Express Company.
Huraymala League
Falcons thumped Punjab Stars by 4 wickets. Punjab Stars piled up 193-6. Noman and Roshan scored fifties, making 64 and 63 runs, respectively. Asif scored 34. Tila picked up 2 wickets.
Falcons chased down the target in 19.3 overs. Farhan scored an unbeaten 54 and Nadeem 31. Zaheer took 3 wickets and Yasir 2.
PTI lost to Cricket Samarwa by 91 runs. Cricket Samarwa posted 243-3. Ahsan (80), Hamza (58) and Waqar 52 scored brilliant fifties. PTI was sent packing for 152 in 15.4 overs. Ijaz showed some resistance with 61. Abubaker took 4 wickets and Naeem 3.
Kohsar won over Super CC by 10 runs. Kohsar collected 186-8. Qasim scored 57 and Gulfam 44. Hussain and Riaz claimed 2 wickets each, while Waheed grabbed 3. Super managed 176, in reply.
Khawar top scored with 43. Sohail Abbasi picked up 4 wickets. Qasim and Adnan took 2 wickets each.
GKIISC lost to Pak Force by 100 runs. Brilliant batting by Imran (58), Mohsin (49), Asim (41) and Kashif (40) helped Pak Force post 241-4. Abdul Hameed took 2 wickets. GKIISC was bowled out for 141. Gayan and Abdul Hameed showed some fight with 29 runs each. Kashif took 3 wickets and Hamad 2.
Fonte Star thrashed Watan Pal by 8 wickets. Watan Pal piled up 227. Fonte Star chased down the target losing only 2 wickets. Waseem Jutt blasted 100 off just 37 balls and Bilal Wani smashed 88 off 44 balls.
Sinmar beat Riyadh Royals by 8 wickets. Riyadh Royals was bundled out for 112. Akthar and Ashab batted well for 26 each. Nawas and Zainal bagged 3 wickets each, while Afzal got 2. Ishtiaq 46, Zainal 37 and Navas 29 helped Sinmar rush to the target in 8.2 overs.
Diriyah League
Al-Harbi lost to Talented by 7 wickets. Al-Harbi put on 169-6. Samiullah hit 51, while Salman and Muheeb scored 35 and 31, respectively. Ibrar picked up 2 wickets. Talented reached the target losing only 3 wickets. Abdul Rehman's unbeaten 102 helped Talented complete the chase in the 17th over. Shoaib scored 28. Moin took 2 wickets.
Bannu Eagles downed Riyadh Warriors CSK by 33 runs. Bannu Eagles collected 227-9. Shoukat hammered 54 and Roman 41. Abdul Ghafoor and Abdul Rahim took 2 wickets each. Riyadh Warriors CSK scrambled to 194. Shehzad was the lone performer with 80. Abdul Aziz picked up 4-26.
Royal Strikers lost to Smashers by 8 wickets. Royal Strikers continued its poor display in the event and was all out for 116. Dajin scored 30. Saad and Talal picked up 3 wickets each. Talal and Sami took Smashers to victory in just 9.3 overs scoring 51 and 30, respectively. Seham defeated Riyadh Rhinos by 96 runs. Naveed (72), Tahir (42), Amir (36) and Yasir (29) took Seham to a massive 246-6. Riyadh Rhinos managed 150, in reply. Asif, Gulzar, Tahir and Naveed claimed 2 wickets each.
