RIYADH — Cricket Samarwa scored a convincing win to remain unbeaten following round three matches of the American Express T20 Tournament organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) here.
Huraymala League
Sinmar thumped Yousafzayi by 130 runs. Sinmar, batting first, piled up 199 for the loss of 1 wicket. Navaz (66) and Hazeem (85) remained unbeaten. Yousafzayi was restricted to 69. Akbar picked up 4 wickets.
Riyadh Fighters humbled AKCC in a nail-biter. AKCC put on 194. Imran Younis claimed 3 wickets. Riyadh Fighters reached the target in the 20th over. Hameed hit 83, Imran 39 and Nusrat 38.
Cricket Samarwa crushed Kohsar by 77 runs. Cricket Samarwa collected 240 for the 8. Ahsan top scored with 83, Zafar 41 and Zahid 32. Adnan picked up 3 wickets. Manan and Nasir grabbed 2 wickets each. Kohsar, in reply, was folded out for just 163. Mannan scored 33 and Mohsin 30. Zahid bagged 3 wickets and Zafar 2.
Fuchs beat Riyadh Warriors by 41 runs. Fuchs racked up 221 for 7. Javed (90) and Waqar (53) scored fifties. Jawaid picked up 3 wickets. Riyadh Warriors was restricted to 180 for the loss of 5 wickets. Raheem top scored with 54 and Asif added 47. Zahid got 2 wickets.
KFSH Green out-played Dirab Golf Club by 10 wickets. Dirab was all out for 147. Usman and Noor scored 40 and 33, respectively. Tahir took 3 wickets, while Hussain, Mansoor and Naseed got 2 each. KFSH Green was home in 14.3 overs. Adnan and Obaid remained unbeaten on 75 and 68, respectively.
Fonte Star won against L'usine by 39 runs. Fonte Star compiled 194-3. Safdar (66), Waseem (50) and Amjad (50) scored fifties. L'usine was bundled out for 155 in 17th over. Adeel blasted 43 and Talal 41. Ghulam and Amjad picked up 3 wickets each.
Hayer League
Aisco cruised to victory over Bannu Eagles by 5 wickets. Bannu Eagles piled up 164-9. Wasi smashed 61 and Rehman 28. Amjad took 3 wickets. while Naimat and Wakeel bagged 2 each. Aisco chased down the target in the 15th over. Amjad made 46 and Shehzad 73. Wasi took 2 wickets.
White Star lost to Green Bangla by 28 runs. Batting first, Green Bangla scored 194-6. Al-Amin scored 51 and Badal 42. White Star was sent packing for 166. Al-Amin was the pick of the bowlers with 5 wickets and Mithun took 2.
Pak Eagles downed Pasban by 59 runs. Pak Eagles racked up 194-4. Altaf played a brilliant knock of 82, Farooq 39 and Wahid 37. Zainullah took 2 wickets. Pasban could score only 135. Waqar and Ali made 25 and 24, respectively. Wahid took 3 wickets, while Altaf and Farooq grabbed 2 each.
Thales flattened Punjab Stars by 24 runs. Thales compiled 243-4. Asim top scored with 67 as Obaid added 40, Zaheer 35 and Abdul 32. Iqbal picked up 2 wickets. Punjab Stars was restricted to 219. Zaheer played a fighting innings of 80 and Waqas mustered 39. Aasm took 3 wickets and Ali 2.
Shaheen Strikers crushed Kashmir Strikers by 56 runs. Shaheen Strikers posted 239-4 as Wahid smashed an outstanding century (107). Shehzad and Naushad scored 35 runs each. Shabeer took 2 wickets. Kashmir Strikers managed 183 only with Ishfaq scoring 43 and Mudassir 37. Kashif took 3 wickets and Waheed 4.
