Travel vouchers worth $2,000 up for grabs daily in Mastercard campaign
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 03 - 09 - 2016

MASTERCARD, a leading technology company in the global payments industry, is offering its debit cardholders in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) a priceless opportunity to travel for less or even free with the launch of a nationwide campaign organized in collaboration with a number of prominent banks operating in the Kingdom.
Cardholders gain automatic entry into a daily raffle draw when they make an ATM or Point-of-Sale transaction overseas using their Mastercard debit card between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31. During the promotion period, each of these transactions qualifies as one entry to the raffle draw, and 61 lucky cardholders will win a travel voucher worth $2,000. The voucher can be used as credit when booking airline flight tickets, hotel bookings or holiday packages.
The campaign is aimed at encouraging the use of payment cards while highlighting the enhanced security and ease of use offered by Mastercard debit cards.
"Debit cards offer a more secure and convenient alternative to carrying cash, especially when traveling to overseas destinations. They eliminate the risk inherent in carrying wads of cash around and can serve as an effective budgeting tool with their built-in brake on spending. Through our exclusive summer campaign, we seek to highlight the unrivaled convenience, security and worldwide acceptance offered by Mastercard debit cards, as well as the rewards they bring cardholders. The campaign presents an excellent opportunity for cardholders in KSA to win back their holiday costs," said Raghav Prasad, general manager – Gulf Countries, Mastercard.
The promotion is open to all holders of Mastercard and Maestro debit cards issued in KSA by participating banks.
The travel vouchers are valid for a period of one year from the date of issue.
